My breath comes in heavy gasps as I start walking up my driveway. Sweat covers me from head to toe, making my shirt stick to my stomach. My throat is dry and aches for water. I focus on my breaths trying to slow my racing heart. My body is warm from running for so long. I pull out my headphones as my iPod starts to play Fall Out Boy's "Sugar Were Going Down," and switch it off. Finally I get to the front porch, climb the steps, and open the door. As I walk inside the cool air engulfs me, leaving the heat outside. I sigh in content and start taking off my shoes. The door slams behind me, and my mom calls from the kitchen, "Hello?" "It's me mom
